Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Diagnosing, treating and managing patients with urological diseases per standard, usual and acceptable or customary methods and techniques in the outpatient setting.
  • Treatment of genitourinary medical conditions
  • Performing outpatient surgical procedures
  • Providing consultations, work ups, and pre-& postoperative care.
  • Establishing professional working relationships with other clinical service providers within the center and outlying Community Base Outpatient Clinics (CBOCS)
  • Providing telephone and e-consultations
  • Consultations as needed and screening consults that are received for appropriateness prior to scheduling.

The incumbent will report to the Chief, Surgery Service or their designee. Specialists and other physicians are available for consultation.

The Urologist shall be expected to cooperate with and participate in medical duties or functions related to quality of care, peer review, improvement and with other performance improvement activities at the direction of the Chief, Surgery Service, and the Chief of Staff.
